Great Little Machine!
By Bill(Owner), Mar. 6, 2011I live in W. PA, in a snow belt, and this machine is really good. I wanted a snow thrower that was agile, and didn't take a great deal of room to store. This SnowJoe fit the bill. It clears snow up to about 10 inches deep. Actually, the deeper the snow, the better it works. I've had mine for two years, and will be ordering a few new parts just to maintain its tiptop working condition. (belt and auger) Starting is a breeze and maintenace minimal. I can do my driveway and sidewalks in about 30 mintues, compared to shoveling which took about 2.5 hours. -
Great little snow blower
By Bill(Owner), Feb. 17, 2014I've had my SJ803 for about 5 years. I love it. Small, maneuverable, handles 10 inches of snow easily, and durable. I have two neighbors who each have snow plows on 4-wheelers, and they have asked me several times on where to get an SJ803. I also end up doing their driveways more than they end up using their plows. Did I mention it's fun to use? I live in northwestern Pennsylvania. I can blow out a double wide driveway of 90+ feet, sidewalks of twice that, and a large patio in half an hour.
I did need to replace the belt spring after two years, and it currently needs a tune-up. Not bad for its sixth winter. -
