Lots of Problems
By Lon Marshall(Owner), Jan. 28, 2011Turning levers seize up and wheel won't engauge. Left wheel goes slower than right wheel so it wants to pull left. Reverse barely works and is slow when it does work. Wires not tied down flop around and come loose. Chute elevator is poorly designed and doesn't have the travel it should.
I bought a Husky because I thought is would be a great machine but it's really lousy. I can't even take it apart to try to fix it without voiding the warranty so I'll have to drive 40 miles to a service provider, leave it and be without till they get around to fixing it if it can be fixed.
I wish I could get my money back. -
Not what I hoped for.
By Tom Holz(Owner), Feb. 23, 2011First I have to say that I love the power of this machine, it really does toss the snow. The problem I have are with two parts. The cable that controls the chute keeps pulling out of the cast grommet. Since Husqvarna requires that service people must replace parts I have to wait for them to find the time. The real problem is with the lower plastic discharge base. It broke the first time I used it and they do not have a replacement part. I have had to patch it together with aluminum. It has been a real paint. -
repairs
By William Bingham(Owner), Jan. 1, 2015Purchased 2/10/13, many problems, auger belt
starting splitting, cabel for chute adj. broke, all shear bolts had to be replaced,
turn buckle keeps freezing up, 1 handle knob
keeps vibrating loose. Iam sorry I purchased
it.I purchased it from a Husqvarna dealer, however on page 17 of the owners manual, it states when replacing belt go to your nearest sear service center. -
excellent snowblower until...
By jim(Owner), Feb. 10, 2016I bought this snow blower after having a Troybilt. this blower will throw snow almost twice as far, and does not bog down in deep snow. Okay enough about it when it works. season 2 on it the wheel sheared where the drive hub is welded to the main rim.$120 later it lasted 1 more year, same thing. I go order another only to find Husqvarna doesn't have any. back ordered for 3 weeks so far, and they don't know when more is due to come in. I also had a 10530sbe and that didn't make it past February. the bearing behind the impeller wasn't tightened from the factory, 1st season and auger housing was shot.
